David Price's Pacific Crest Trail Trek for K9 Heroes

David Price was a West Midlands Police Dog Handler for 15 years. In that time he handled two General Purpose Dogs, 2 Specialist Dogs, 1 Narcotics and 1 Explosives Detection Dog. He discovered first hand how these amazing dogs help serve our country and recognises how much they deserve continued support in their retirement.
To help raise funds to support the work of K9 Heroes David and a friend, Rex Tomkinson embarked on a trek of the Pacific Crest Trail that spans 2,650 miles (4,265 kilometers) from Mexico to Canada through California, Oregon, and Washington. They then drive down to San Diego where they part company with the hire car and make their way to the village of Campo which is near the Mexican border. Once arrived the chaps camp overnight before starting the trek with boots on the ground. Even if the trek covers a marathon per day it will take 100 days, so this really is a monumental task and a huge adventure to raise funds for the charity!
